Relax on a park bench over looking the Ocean, Diamond Head and Waikiki. Kapiolani Park is a great park to relax at since there are many trees providing shade. On the ocean side of the park there are areas to sit and relax overlooking the beach and ocean. There is a small duck pond at the beginning of the park. Also Ala Moana beach park is a large park with many benches overlooking the beach and ocean. |

Eat at a major food court with many different types of local, asian and national foods. Ala Moana Center is Hawaii's largest shopping center. The main food court is Makai Market Food Court in the center of the shopping center and on the ocean side lower level. The address is 1450 Ala Moana Blvd. This is a good place to shop for groceries. There is a supermarket call Foodland Farms on the Ewa (west) side of the shopping center. |

Relax and have a cocktail. There are many great spots in most large Waikiki hotels. A nice deluxe beach side restaurant and bar called Mai Tai Bar is in the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki. Breakfast 7am-10:30am, lunch/dinner from 11:30am to 9:00pm. Also inside Ala Moana Center on the Macy's side on the upper level is a outdoor restaurant called Mai Tai's Bar and Grill. |

Shop in Waikiki's International Marketplace or Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. In Waikiki are
two very nice shopping centers, the International Marketplace and
the Royal Hawaiian Center. Parking entrance for the International Marketplace
is on Kuhio Ave. There is a $2.00 per hour cost if you buy $10
from any shop or restaurant. |

Visit the Waikiki Aquarium and learn of all the unique Hawaiian fishes. Waikiki Aquarium is a nice interesting small aquarium with many Hawaiian specific fishes. There is an entrance fee also be sure to call for their current hours. The aquarium is on the right side of Kapiolani Park about half way down the park. The address is 2777 Kalakaua Ave, ph. Get a terrific panoramic view overlooking all of Waikiki from Diamond Head to Pearl Harbor. Puu Ualaka'a State Wayside Park is a Hawaii State park. From the lookout you have a terrific panoramic view from Diamond Head to Pearl Harbor. It will take about 35 minutes to drive there. There are restrooms and parking. The address is at 2760 Round Top Drive. As you enter the park and drive up the road on the Right side are the restrooms and on the Left side is Nutridge Street which goes to the lookout. Please remember do not leave valuables in your car and lock your car. You can also drive all around Round Top Drive. It will take about 1 hour to drive around. At the top of the mountain (1,800 feet elevation) the name changes to Tantalus Drive.Tantalus Drive is a twisty and tree shaded road. When you are almost down the mountain (about 80%) turn LEFT at Makiki Heights Drive and that returns you to the same place you started. If you miss this turn you will be heading toward the downtown area. Just drive toward the ocean and you will reach Ala Moana Blvd. |
